Dr Sujata Narayan Edate

Dr Sujata Narayan Edate is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert medical care for infants, children, and young people. Focused on delivering compassionate, family-centred healthcare, she works closely with young patients and their parents to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of general paediatric conditions. Her clinical practice emphasises holistic care and evidence-based treatments tailored to support each child's health, growth, and development.

Dr Edate completed her foundational medical degree and initial paediatric training at Seth G.S. Medical College in India. Moving to the United Kingdom to pursue further higher specialist training in child health, she earned her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Paediatrics. She actively participates in clinical governance, continuing medical education, and paediatric research, contributing to published literature on childhood endocrine conditions and neonatal health.

Alongside her general paediatric expertise, Dr Edate possesses special clinical interests in paediatric endocrinology, paediatric diabetes, and neonatal care. Her sub-speciality work includes managing complex endocrine disorders, childhood growth and pubertal variations, type 1 diabetes mellitus, fluid and electrolyte balance in surgical or critically ill children, and neonatal hypoglycaemia.
