Mr Stefan Bajada

Mr Stefan Bajada is a highly skilled Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in advanced knee reconstruction and lower limb treatments. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering tailored care to individuals experiencing joint pain, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions. He is dedicated to utilising innovative techniques to restore mobility and improve the quality of life for his patients.

His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, with a particular emphasis on knee reconstruction, arthroscopic keyhole surgery, and ligament reconstruction, including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. Mr Bajada also specialises in knee replacement surgery, partial knee replacements, and regenerative medicine. His expertise extends to managing sports traumatology, knee cartilage issues, meniscal tears, and anterior knee pain, as well as performing primary hip replacements.

Mr Bajada obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Malta, qualifying in 2004. Committed to academic excellence and clinical research, he also earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) for his work in regenerative medicine and orthopaedics. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics) and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS).
