Dr Ananth Narayan completed his initial medical training in India, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and subsequently qualified as a Paediatrician with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics. Committed to advancing his clinical expertise, he became a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). He also completed a prestigious clinical research fellowship at a leading London university, focusing on advanced cardiovascular imaging and medical image computing.

As a specialist in cardiac imaging, Dr Ananth Narayan serves as a Clinical Lead for advanced diagnostic techniques, including cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and echocardiography. His research and clinical interests lie in multimodality image fusion, cross-sectional imaging, and the long-term follow-up of patients with congenital heart disease. In addition to his clinical duties, he is actively involved in clinical governance, serving as a Clinical Governance Lead to ensure that paediatric cardiology services maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, and patient care.
