Dr Sri-Kala Gore

Dr Sri-Kala Gore is an esteemed Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon who specialises in paediatric eye care and complex conditions affecting the eyelids, orbits, and lacrimal system. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Gore is dedicated to providing high-quality, reassuring care to infants, children, and young adults. She works extensively to assess, diagnose, and manage both common and rare ophthalmic disorders, ensuring that every patient receives tailored care suited to their individual needs.

Dr Gore completed her foundational medical training in Cambridge and London, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc). She furthered her academic qualifications by obtaining a Master's degree in Education with distinction. Following her ophthalmic training, she completed four specialist fellowships in Paediatric Ophthalmology, Craniofacial Surgery, and Oculoplastic Surgery, including aesthetic surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and holds active membership in professional bodies such as the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society.

In her clinical practice, Dr Gore leads specialist services focused on complex conditions, including congenital periocular anomalies, microphthalmia and anophthalmia, periocular and orbital oncology, and complex lacrimal disease. Her clinical interests also encompass vascular malformations, periocular infantile haemangiomas, neurofibromatosis, and craniofacial anomalies. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across paediatric radiology, dermatology, and plastic surgery, Dr Gore performs a wide range of surgical interventions, including oculoplastic reconstruction, socket rehabilitation, lacrimal surgery, and eyelid surgery.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Gore is actively involved in medical education, clinical research, and international academic presentations. She has authored book chapters and published research papers in medical journals, contributing to advancements in paediatric ophthalmic care and reconstructive surgery.
