About Dr Sohail Bampoe
Dr Sohail Bampoe completed his undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Imperial College London, and then went on to train in medicine there. He subsequently trained in anaesthesia at the London Academy of Anaesthesia, before taking up a post as consultant at University College London Hospital. Dr Bampoe has particular clinical interests in perioperative medicine, obstetric anaesthesia and enhanced recovery programmes. He also holds a postgraduate master's degree in perioperative medicine from University College London. In addition to his work as a doctor, he is also the Co-founder and Chair of Trainees with an Interestin Perioperative Medicine (TRIPOM), which forms part of the Evidence Based Perioperative Medicine (EBPOM) group.
