Dr Simon Taylor

Simon Taylor is an experienced Dental Hygienist and Therapist with a professional background spanning restorative dentistry, preventive oral healthcare and dental services across private, NHS and institutional settings. His clinical career has developed from dental assisting into advanced restorative dental therapy, combining hands-on treatment experience with a strong understanding of oral health maintenance and patient care.

With more than a decade of experience since qualifying in 2014, Simon has worked across a variety of dental environments, developing expertise in providing preventive and restorative treatments within the professional scope of dental therapy. He is also the Director of Taylor Made Smiles, reflecting his involvement in the development and delivery of dental services.

Simon's clinical practice centres on advanced restorative dental therapy, dental hygiene and preventive oral healthcare. His work encompasses periodontal assessment and treatment, professional dental cleaning, management of gum disease, direct dental restorations, preventive treatments and oral health education. His experience also includes delivering dental care in private and NHS environments, with an emphasis on preserving natural teeth, supporting periodontal health and helping patients maintain long-term oral wellbeing.
