Dr Simon Smith is an experienced Consultant Radiologist who specialises in comprehensive diagnostic imaging and cross-sectional diagnostic techniques. Dedicated to delivering precise diagnostic interpretations and clear clinical insights, Dr Smith works alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure every patient receives high-quality, individualised care. In his clinical practice, Dr Smith focuses on cross-sectional imaging, oncology imaging, and a broad range of specialised diagnostic modalities. His areas of clinical interest include computed tomography (CT) procedures such as CT colography and CT urography, as well as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Additionally, Dr Smith has extensive expertise in image-guided therapeutic procedures, including CT-directed tumour thermal ablation, providing advanced interventional options to support comprehensive patient management.

Dr Smith earned his medical qualification from Nottingham University in 1991. Following completion of his postgraduate medical and diagnostic training, he obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR). Demonstrating a strong commitment to maintaining clinical excellence and education in his field, Dr Smith also serves as an examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists.
