About Mr Simon Carr

Mr Simon Carr is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon working at Sheffield Children's Hospital, Royal Hallamshire Hospital, and Bradford Royal Infirmary.

He graduated in medicine from the University of Edinburgh Medical School. He completed higher surgical training in Otolaryngology within the Leeds and Sheffield training programmes. During this period, he undertook research leading to the award of an MD degree.

Following completion of specialist training, he completed clinical fellowships in Toronto, Canada, including training in neurotology and skull base surgery at Toronto General Hospital and paediatric cochlear implantation at The Hospital for Sick Children.

Mr Carr was appointed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon following completion of his training and fellowships. His clinical practice includes the assessment and management of general ENT conditions in both adults and children, with a subspecialty focus on otology and neurotology.
