Chronic Pain Physiotherapist and Longevity Expert
Your Path to Pain-Free Living and Lasting Vitality Starts Here
If you’ve been battling chronic pain for years, seen countless therapists, and still can’t find relief, you’ve come to the right place. With over two decades of experience, I specialise in helping those who feel like they’ve run out of options. As a chronic pain physiotherapist and longevity expert, I combine cutting-edge science with a deeply compassionate, holistic approach to help you not only feel better but thrive. My work has transformed the lives of thousands, restoring their movement, vitality, and hope.
A Journey of Expertise and Empathy
Graduating from the University of South Australia in 1998, I began my career in elite sports, working with track and field athletes and Australian Rules Football players. These formative years taught me the power of precision, discipline, and innovation in rehabilitation. The next chapter of my journey took me to Europe, where I served the British Armed Forces, including the Army and Air Force in Germany. This experience shaped my understanding of resilience under extreme physical and mental pressures.
After transitioning to corporate healthcare, I spent two decades working with industry leaders such as Google, Morgan Stanley, Schroders Asset Management, and Microsoft. Witnessing the toll of chronic stress and sedentary lifestyles on high-performing professionals, I developed a unique model of care focused on chronic and stress-related pain. My approach integrates the principles of longevity to create lasting change, leveraging the five pillars of health: movement, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and relationships.
A Proven Track Record of Success
With over 50,000 treatment sessions delivered to more than 15,000 patients, I have built a reputation as the go-to practitioner for complex, unresolved cases. I specialise in treating individuals who have seen numerous physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, and massage therapists—often without success. My mission is clear: to succeed where others have not, restoring hope and health to those who have endured pain for far too long.
Educator, Speaker, and Advocate for Better Health
In addition to clinical practice, I am a passionate educator. I teach internationally at the prestigious Osteopathie Schule Deutschland and the European School of Osteopathy, focusing on strain and counterstrain techniques. I also deliver corporate wellness seminars, Surviving to Thriving, designed to empower professionals with the tools they need to manage stress, optimise performance, and enhance well-being.
Through my mentorship programs, I guide therapists in becoming not only skilled clinicians but the best versions of themselves. By combining technical mastery with self-awareness and compassion, I help practitioners elevate their practice and make a greater impact.
Holistic and Compassionate Care
My philosophy is simple: healing is about more than just fixing the body. True wellness arises from addressing every aspect of life. That’s why my treatments are grounded in a holistic framework, integrating movement, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and relationships. I work not just to alleviate pain but to empower my patients to take control of their health and live longer, fuller lives.
Beyond the Clinic
I am a proud father of three beautiful daughters and a partner to a wonderful nutritionist. Together, we embody the principles of health and vitality in our daily lives. Outside of work, I find joy in running, cycling, weightlifting, gardening, and sculpting with clay. These passions keep me grounded and connected to the creative and restorative aspects of life.

Mr Simon Cabot consistently engages with patients in a helpful manner. He is highly effective at diagnosing root causes and implementing personalised treatment plans, often integrating a holistic approach. This includes various manual therapy techniques and tailored strengthening exercises, leading to significant improvements for long-standing chronic pain and increased mobility. His expertise notably supports patients managing general physiotherapy, running injuries, and back pain.
The instructor demonstrated an impressive breadth and depth of expertise, consistently integrating current scientific evidence into the course content. Complex topics were presented in a clear, engaging, and evidence-informed manner, making them both accessible and highly relevant to clinical practice. A particular strength of the course was its ability to create space for reflection and critical discussion of important topics. The instructor encouraged participants to engage thoughtfully with the material, fostering a deeper understanding beyond factual knowledge. The course also placed a strong emphasis on the biopsychosocial model and raised awareness of the heterogeneity of patient populations, highlighting the importance of individualized, patient-centered care. These perspectives were meaningfully integrated throughout the sessions. Another outstanding aspect was the instructor’s flexibility in responding to the needs of the learning group. They cultivated a supportive and inclusive learning environment in which participants felt comfortable asking questions, sharing perspectives, and engaging in discussion. In addition, the instructor enriched the course by drawing on their own clinical experience, effectively connecting scientific evidence with practical application. Thank you Simon!
I had the pleasure of having Simon Cabot as an instructor at an osteopathy school, and I can wholeheartedly recommend him. His teaching style is the perfect combination of expertise, professionalism, and a relaxed, engaging sense of humor. Even complex topics were presented in a way that was easy to understand and highly practical. I gained an incredible amount from his classes and was able to integrate many of his concepts directly into my own clinical practice. What impressed me most was that it was immediately obvious what an outstanding therapist Simon is. During the live treatment demonstrations, you could see how structured, precise, and effective his approach was, and it was remarkable to witness how quickly he was able to help the patients. This made his teaching even more authentic and impactful. I was equally impressed by his teaching methodology. As an instructor at a physiotherapy school myself, I pay close attention to effective teaching techniques, and I found myself learning not only from his clinical expertise but also from the way he communicates and delivers knowledge. He has a real talent for making complex concepts accessible, engaging, and memorable. Thank you for such an inspiring course!
Simon is the most holistic manual therapist I have come across so far. His way of looking at health problems truly goes beyond what other physios or doctor normaly do, thus he is able to get to the root cause where others are only treating symptoms.
My name is Margarita Lopatina, originally from Ukraine and currently based in Berlin. I am a second-year student of osteopathy at the Berlin School of Osteopathy (OSD) and physiotherapy at Health Akademy by Berlin Accident Hospital (UKB), as well as a massage therapist with over 7 years of clinical experience. As a former competitive athlete in Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I’ve experienced firsthand how valuable good manual therapy can be. I greatly enjoyed Simon’s way of teaching and the way he builds connection with everyone in class. The complex concepts were delivered with remarkable clarity and always connected to clinical reasoning, real patient cases, and current research. Every technique immediately made sense in practice. The fact that our entire class stayed completely engaged for three days in almost 40°C heat without air conditioning says a lot about Simon’s teaching and energy that he kept inside the classroom. Through his own constant selfreflection, passion and engagement into subject everyone stayed fully involved and focused. The seminars went super dynamic and on one breath… What I appreciate most is that Simon truly embodies what he teaches. He doesn’t just teach techniques—he teaches clinical reasoning. I left the seminar not only with new skills but also with many new questions, ideas to explore further, and even more motivation to continue learning. I would highly recommend Simon’s courses to anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of Strain Counterstrain and become a better clinician.
Simon was such a great help not only physically but mentally. He got to know me in our initial intro and made me feel comfortable which was important to me as my first time going to a physio. I had lower back pain from lifting a mattress and the pain hadn’t subsided for over 3 months. Two seasons after seeing Simon and I was back to normal, and in the gym. Very grateful and highly recommend !
As an authorized physiotherapist and osteopath fourth-year student, I can fully recommend visiting Simon if you want high-quality treatment and advice on health-related issues. I had the pleasure of being treated by Simon for my back pain, which reduced immediately, and even though I work in healthcare, I got a lot out of his advice for my own health.
As a physiotherapist, osteopathy postgraduate student, personal trainer, and clinic owner, I do not give professional recommendations lightly. My clinical background requires me to evaluate practitioners based on reasoning, structure, and competence, not just bedside manner. Simon is someone I can confidently recommend. What stands out immediately is his clinical clarity. His assessments are systematic and well reasoned, and his treatment choices are clearly anchored in sound anatomical and biomechanical understanding. There is no sense of guesswork. His decision making reflects training, experience, and genuine competence. Communication is another major strength. Simon explains findings and treatment rationale in a way that is both accessible and precise. He listens attentively, adjusts his language to the individual, and creates a collaborative atmosphere where the patient feels involved rather than passive. That level of engagement builds trust quickly. From one clinician to another, I value practitioners who combine technical skill with professional presence. Simon does exactly that. He demonstrates calm authority, structured thinking, and a clear commitment to high standards. Based on my professional background and experience in musculoskeletal care, I can strongly recommend Simon to anyone seeking thoughtful, skilled, and communicative osteopathic treatment.
I have the pleasure to get a seminar about strain - counter strain. We really had a good balance between theory and practice and got a good integration of the principles making them an easy tool to use straight away.
Simon is a great physio: he listens and looks at your body as a system. After just a few sessions with me, he knew exactly where to go to alleviate my back and shoulder pain. He's shed light on the root cause of the symptom, not just treatment of symptoms alone. Thank you Simon!
I have chronic pain (left elbow, right wrist, and lower back) due to sports injuries and less-than-ideal posture from long working hours in finance. I first met Simon at the Canary Wharf clinic in 2018, and he has since become my go-to physio. Not only does he provide effective pain relief, he also helps me understand the root causes so I can manage the pain myself. I highly recommend him to anyone who works long hours and also trains hard at the gym. Went to see him first week of Jan 2026 becasue my wrist was a bit flared up last month, and he's as good as usual!

PhysiotherapistSimon is truly an expert in his field. He is a master at identifying the root cause of pain, especially in complex cases and chronic conditions. Beyond his technical expertise, Simon’s calm and compassionate approach makes all the difference. He takes the time to truly understand his patients as he considers many health and lifestyle factors before developing a comprehensive treatment plan. If you are struggling with pain and you are looking for a physiotherapist who is both highly skilled and deeply caring, Simon Cabot is the person to see.

Ms Erin Lahay
PhysiotherapistSimon is one of the best physiotherapists that I've ever worked with. The breadth of his knowledge both as a physio, as well as a health expert, are unparalleled. Simon has been an incredibly inspiring mentor to me over the years. He has a knack of getting right to the root cause of a problem, and often solves pain problems that have persisted for many years. If you are looking for a second (or third...) opinion because your pain persists, I can think of no one better to see than Simon.
