Dr Sheerja Bali

Dr Sheerja Bali is a Consultant Dermatologist at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where she was appointed as a substantive consultant in 2025 following a year as a locum consultant. She has over a decade of experience in dermatology, with a strong background in both the UK and India.

After completing her MBBS at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in 2007, Dr Bali undertook specialist training in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology (MD DVL) at Madurai Medical College, followed by a DNB in the same field. She went on to work as a Senior Resident at Government Dharmapuri Medical College, before consultant posts at Medstar Speciality Hospital and Oliva Skin & Hair Clinics in India.

Since moving to the UK, Dr Bali has built significant experience within the NHS, serving as a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust from 2019 to 2024. She holds MRCP (UK) and MRCP (UK) Dermatology, having successfully completed the Specialty Certificate Examination in Dermatology.

Her expertise covers all aspects of general dermatology, including inflammatory skin disease, acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and venereology. She is also experienced in procedural dermatology and aesthetic dermatology, with skills in lasers, chemical peels, and advanced cosmetic dermatology.
