Mr Shamik Rudra

Shamik Rudra is an Audiologist based in London. He is able to perform a range of diagnostic and therapeutic audiological services, and has 30 years of clinical experience. He offers assessments including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry and tinnitus assessment, and can also help with installing and checking hearing aids as well as performing ear wax removal. He also is able to run ENT aligned support clinics which can include diagnostic support.

Shamik has a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology from the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, as well as a Master’s degree in Applied/Clinical Psychology from IASE (MJP) Rohilkhand University. He has worked as an audiologist since 1996 and during his career has gained clinical experience in a wide array of services. As well as his clinical work, Shamik has contributed to education through being a practical examiner in audiology, as well as a consultant lecturer for Bhoj Open University.

Alongside his work as an Audiologist, Shamik is passionate about quality improvement and service delivery. He has worked in a variety of roles including as a service manager and operations manager, and has led multiple improvement initiatives throughout his career. He has specialist qualifications in service optimisation, and has worked as a member of the UKAS IQIPS accreditation programme. His dedication to quality improvement is reflected in his clinical work, where he strives to provide the best care possible for his patients.
