Dr Sean Martin

Dr Sean Martin is a dedicated Consultant Neurosurgeon who provides high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals facing complex neurological conditions. Specialising in both cranial and spinal surgery, he focuses on delivering advanced surgical solutions tailored to the individual needs of each patient. Dr Martin combines cutting-edge clinical techniques with a reassuring, compassionate approach to support patients throughout their care journey.

Dr Martin completed his postgraduate academic research at the University of Oxford, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) with a focus on deep brain stimulation and neuromodulation. He holds a Fellowship in Neurosurgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS). In addition, Dr Martin maintains active memberships with professional medical organisations, including the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the Neuromodulation Society of the UK and Ireland.

Within his clinical practice, Dr Martin has developed significant expertise in functional neurosurgery and neuro-oncology. His primary clinical interests include deep brain stimulation, spinal cord stimulation for chronic pain management, and specialised procedures such as awake craniotomies for brain tumour resection.
