Mr Mathews was thoroughly professional in his assessment of my knee. He has a very easy and engaging manner which made me believe this is a person whose observations and treatment proposal I can trust. He explained the evidence of the X-rays and provided a well reasoned and clear explanation of his proposals regarding treatment. At no time did I feel that there were time constraints on his time he devoted to my needs and requirements as a patient. 5/5 for me.

I had a very good experience at my Review Appointment with Mr Scott Matthews to day.He explained what he did when I had surgery on my knee and told me I had a degree of Arthritis. He asked me about my mobility and checked my knee. He told me if I had any problems in the future he would be willing to see me.

Mr Matthews is a positive, personable and skilled Consultant. From my first consultation I felt assured Mr Matthews would rectify my knee problems. He took time to talk through my x-rays and explain what would be involved in the surgery. There was an excellent team in theatre on the day of surgery. The anaesthetist was fantastic. Many people, including health professionals have commented on how neat the scar is. I am delighted the surgery has been so successful. Wonderful to be able to walk further again and have a new lease of life. Thank you Mr Matthews.

I was a little late so therefore didn’t have time to buy a thank you card and some chocolates to show my appreciation…. I was able to run 15k without stopping just 8 weeks post op… Mr Scott Matthews is a wonderful surgeon and I feel honoured to have been one of his patients. His bedside manner was very professional, he was informative and very accommodating in bringing my surgery appt forward as I am running the New York marathon with my daughter on the 1st of November this year
