Mr Scott Cutting

Mr Scott Cutting is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon at East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust, specialising in eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital disorders. He graduated with honours from Cardiff University before completing his training across London and the South East. He subsequently undertook an specialist fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital, one of the world's leading specialist eye centres, where he received advanced training in the management of complex functional, reconstructive and periocular skin cancer surgery.

He specialises in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery, providing comprehensive assessment and management of eyelid, tear duct and orbital conditions, combining evidence-based practice with a patient-centred approach. He is committed to delivering high-quality care with excellent functional and aesthetic outcomes.

He regularly performs a wide range of oculoplastic procedures, including blepharoplasty, ptosis surgery, and the correction of entropion and ectropion. He also treats watery eyes and performs procedures such as punctoplasty and dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) tear duct surgery. In addition, he has significant experience in the management of eyelid skin cancers, performing both tumour excision and reconstructive eyelid surgery to restore function and appearance. He is also the lead of the botox service at East Kent NHS Trust for management of conditions such as blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm.
