Dr Sara Hanna

Dr Sara Hanna is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatric Intensivist and Medical Director who specialises in the care of critically ill babies, children, and young people. With extensive expertise in managing complex acute conditions, Dr Hanna provides expert clinical leadership to ensure young patients receive the highest standards of emergency and critical care. Her compassionate and objective approach offers reassuring guidance to families during exceptionally challenging medical situations.

Her clinical focus encompasses retrieval medicine and paediatric intensive care, concentrating on the safe emergency transport, rapid stabilisation, and advanced treatment of severely unwell infants and children. Dr Hanna is deeply committed to patient safety, multidisciplinary medical education, and family-centred care, ensuring parents and carers are actively engaged in decision-making regarding their child's healthcare.

Dr Hanna completed her undergraduate medical degree (MB BChir) at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University. She advanced her post-graduate qualifications by completing a Master of Science (MSc) in Child Health at University College London. Additionally, she is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH).
