Dr Sanjay Wazir

Dr. Sanjay Wazir is a Consultant Paediatrician and Allergist with more than 25 years of experience in paediatric medicine. He has held the position of Pediatric Consultant since 2013 and has a diverse background in managing various paediatric clinical issues. His training involved general paediatrics, paediatric rheumatology, paediatric epilepsy, and allergy.

Since 2013, Dr. Wazir has been serving as a consultant at the Homerton Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust, where he has worked in leading the acute paediatrics services since 2016 as the clinical lead. He is responsible for overseeing multidisciplinary clinics, particularly in Paediatric allergy, Paediatric rheumatology & epilepsy, and manages a wide range of paediatric rheumatological conditions and children with epileptic seizures.

Dr Wazir is competent in dealing with all aspects of children's health, ranging from common childhood complaints, to management of rare and complex conditions, working together with sub-specialists, or general health reviews or neonatal / baby checks.

Dr. Wazir's extensive training has taken place in some of the world's leading paediatric centres, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and Royal London Hospital. He holds membership in the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and has achieved the status of a Fellow of RCPCH.  He has earned a diploma in child health from RCPCH. He has achieved masters in allergy from prestigious Imperial college, London.

Dr. Wazir's expertise in the field of allergy is the result of training at prestigious institutions such as Imperial College and the University of Southampton. He takes the lead in multi-disciplinary allergy clinics, where he addresses a wide range of allergy-related clinical issues, including conducting investigations, providing treatment, and offering therapeutic interventions to patients.
