Dr Sanjay Krishnamoorthy is an accomplished Consultant Physician specialising in General (Internal) Medicine and Acute Medicine. With extensive expertise in managing complex medical presentations and acute illnesses, he provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals facing a wide variety of medical conditions. In his roles as a Clinical Director and Medical Director, Dr Krishnamoorthy combines rigorous clinical knowledge with an empathetic, reassuring approach, ensuring patients receive prompt, effective, and well-coordinated medical care.

In his day-to-day practice, Dr Krishnamoorthy focuses on the rapid evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients admitted with sudden or multi-system health issues. His clinical interests encompass ambulatory emergency care, same-day medical assessments, high-dependency acute care, and the management of complex diagnostic challenges. He is skilled in performing essential bedside diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including pleural drains, central line insertions, and ascitic taps. Dr Krishnamoorthy obtained his medical degree (MBBS) before completing extensive postgraduate training in internal medicine and acute care. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).
