Dr Saif Huda

Dr Saif Huda is a dedicated Consultant Neurologist who specialises in neuroimmunology and complex inflammatory conditions of the central nervous system. He serves as a Clinical Lead for a nationally commissioned service, where he provides expert, compassionate care for patients living with rare neurological disorders. Dr Huda is committed to clear, patient-centred communication, ensuring that individuals receive supportive, tailored guidance throughout their assessment and long-term treatment.

Dr Huda completed his undergraduate medical education in Liverpool, qualifying in 2005. He subsequently completed specialist higher training in neurology, qualifying as a specialist in 2017. Complementing his clinical foundation, he undertook a Doctorate of Philosophy (DPhil) in neuroimmunology at the University of Oxford between 2012 and 2015, followed by a post-qualification fellowship in neuromyelitis optica in 2018. His professional qualifications include MBChB, DPhil, and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in Neurology [MRCP (Neuro)].

In his clinical practice, Dr Huda focuses on central nervous system autoimmunity, multiple sclerosis, and antibody-mediated disorders. He conducts outpatient clinics for autoimmune conditions and multiple sclerosis, alongside providing acute inpatient consultations. As an active researcher and Principal Investigator, Dr Huda leads clinical trials evaluating novel therapies for autoimmune encephalitis and demyelinating diseases, aiming to advance treatment options and improve overall quality of life for his patients.
