Dr. Sadif Rafiq

Dr. Sadif Rafiq is a dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred primary care. Known for her calm professionalism and empathetic approach, she delivers individualised medical care to individuals and families across all stages of life. Dr. Rafiq has extensive clinical experience across general practice and urgent care settings, equipping her to manage both acute medical presentations and ongoing health conditions. She places a strong emphasis on accessibility, continuity of care, and clear communication to ensure her patients feel reassured and fully involved in their healthcare decisions.

Dr. Rafiq maintains a clinical focus on women's health and family medicine, with particular interest in the postnatal period and supporting parents through the physical and emotional transition into parenthood. Her broad practice encompasses family wellness advice, breastfeeding support, contraception counselling, sexual health advice, weight management, and wound care. She is equally experienced in diagnosing and managing a wide range of everyday health concerns, from acute infections and routine conditions to chronic disease monitoring in both paediatric and adult patients.

Dr. Rafiq graduated with her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from Hull York Medical School in 2014. She went on to complete specialist training in general practice, attaining Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2017. To further enhance her expertise in women's healthcare and reproductive health, she earned a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) in 2015 and a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH). She also holds formal Letters of Competence in intrauterine device (IUD) insertion and contraceptive implant procedures.
