Dr Rohit Garkoti

Dr Rohit Garkoti is a dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist who provides high-quality, compassionate, and patient-focused care across a wide range of surgical disciplines. As an experienced specialist in perioperative care, he works collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure every patient receives safe, effective, and tailored pain relief throughout their treatment journey. His reassuring approach helps patients feel informed and comfortable before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Dr Garkoti earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Delhi University in 1998. He subsequently completed postgraduate medical training in Anaesthetics, earning the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA). He is also a Fellow of the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland (FCARCSI). Dr Garkoti maintains active involvement in medical education, clinical leadership, and quality improvement initiatives, continuously advancing safety standards within the field.

Dr Garkoti possesses extensive expertise in general anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, and pain management. His clinical interests include ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, obstetric anaesthesia, critical care, and medical simulation training. He places a strong emphasis on modern regional anaesthetic techniques that help reduce post-operative discomfort, minimise reliance on strong pain medications, and support faster patient recovery.
