Dr Kiran Sachane

Dr Kiran Sachane is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine practicing at Spire Edinburgh Hospitals Murrayfield and Shawfair Park. He qualified in Anaesthesia in 1998, before completing further training in Pain Medicine. He has worked in numerous hospitals in both the UK and India and has also undertaken a fellowship in the prestigious Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Dr Sachane has a specialist interest in musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain. He provides a personalised and holistic approach and uses interventional medicine when required to deliver on ensuring sufficient pain management. He regularly uses ultrasound and X-rays along with targeted nerve techniques to increase recovery time.

Apart from his experience in pain management, he enjoys keeping up his knowledge in pain medicine by attending lectures and conferences. He also provides teaching courses to trainees and other medical personnel and researching new forms of neuromodulation.
