Dr Ritika Kapoor

Dr Ritika Kapoor is a highly qualified Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist who provides specialised care for children, adolescents, and young adults. She leads regional clinical services dedicated to managing complex hormonal disorders, growth conditions, and developmental endocrinology. With an approach centred on compassionate, patient-focused care, Dr Kapoor collaborates closely with young patients and their families to develop tailored diagnostic and management plans.

Dr Kapoor earned her primary medical qualification from the University of Mumbai in 1997. She subsequently completed her higher postgraduate training in general paediatrics and paediatric endocrinology in the United Kingdom. She gained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2001 and was awarded a PhD from University College London in 2010 for her research into the genetic mechanisms of congenital hyperinsulinism. In recognition of her leadership, clinical excellence, and academic contributions to child health, she was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2020.

Her areas of clinical expertise span a broad range of endocrine conditions, including congenital hyperinsulinism, growth hormone deficiencies, pituitary gland dysfunction, and congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Dr Kapoor also maintains dedicated clinical interests in complex adolescent reproductive endocrinology, joint paediatric gynaecology care, and neuroendocrinology. In addition to her clinical commitments, she is actively involved in clinical research and medical education, focusing on neurobehavioural outcomes and innovative therapeutic strategies for children with hypothalamo-pituitary disorders.
