Dr. Rishi Dhand

I went to see the doctor with knee pain in both knees , with osteoarthritis subsequently diagnosed He discussed the various options for me (various forms of injections etc) and after reviewing all the options I decided to proceed with the arthrosamid injections , which over the long term are providing me with much improved mobility and pain relief

I attended Rishi Dhand's clinic on 17th June 2026 for him to look at an injury to my right thumb that had been causing a problem when batting in cricket. The injury was originally bruising but had developed into a tingling sensation, perhaps suggesting a nerve issue. Rishi took an interest into the injury and used a scanning machine to investigate further. He made a most useful suggestion that a splint might be helpful to protect the injury. He referred me to a hand injury consultant at Nuffield Health in Leeds. I attended here and a splint was provided. This has largely solved my injury issue. Rishi follow up a little later with an email to find out how I was progressing - a good service - thank you.

I’m a 71 year old man with severe osteoarthritis in both knees and a form of myositis that is wasting away muscle. It’s impor5ant I can do exercise and knee pain was limiting that. After doing my own research I consulted Dr Rishi and started with Durolane injections that gave me some months of pain relief. I decided on Arthrosamid treatment in the hope I’d get longer lasting relief and so far that is bearing out. Dr Rishi explained all the treatments, likely impacts and risks in great detail, all considering my age and medical condition, so I felt fully informed along the entire process. The treatments themselves were performed with great care ! using ultrasound guidance and my wife and I could see and be involved in the injections. I’have no hesitation recommending Dr Rishi who is very competent, a great communicator and I felt I had value for money. I’d certainly go back to Dr Rishi for more treatment although I hope that is a long way off !

I was diagnosed with a 8mm tear to my tendon at the top of my hamstring. I visited Dr Rishi Dhand who explained to me the different options that I would benefit from. Everything was explained very clearly. It was decided the best course of treatment would be a PRP injection which was administered during the initial appointment. This can take up to six weeks to show benefit, of which I am sure it did. Mr Dhand advised me on my rehabilitation and also advised my physiotherapist and I stuck to this advice religiously which aided my recovery. I cannot recommend Dr Rishi Dhand enough for his professionalism and expertise.

My issues were with my rotator cuff but I had other medical issues which didn’t help the discomfort. He was extremely kind, explained clearly and gave me a good deal of time. I left feeling much less stressed!

Following an ankle injury during the Leeds half marathon I had an x-ray at A&E which concluded it was a sprain. However, my pain continued for a further week and I decided to contact 360 Clinic to check for any ligament or tendon damage. Having used their service for a shoulder issue a few years ago I felt confident I would get the help I needed. Dr Rishi Dhand carried out a thorough examination and an ultrasound. His professional advice was to have an MRI as the ultrasound appeared to show a possible partial stress fracture and ligament damage. Rishi talked me through the ultrasound and explained what he could see. His professionalism, knowledge and expertise are so reassuring at a time when a patient is anxious about their injury. Rishi referred me to Living Care for the MRI. He then rang me the evening after the MRI with the results. It was as he first thought, a stress fracture at the base of my Tibia and a smaller one at the join with my Fibula plus a tear in my AFTL. Dr Dhand made a phone call to the hospital orthopedic team to arrange for me to go early the next morning for a boot to protect my foot and to get on the fracture clinic list. From first seeing Dr Dhand to getting the MRI and subsequent boot and crutches at hospital was all done within a week (which included a Bank Holiday). The patient service I've received from Dr Dhand is outstanding. He has gone above and beyond to help me. Rishi was took the time to understand the history of my condition. Have a thorough examination and provided an overview of options going forward. Exceptionally professional and knowledgeable.

Attended with left hip pain tear in the gluteus minibus tendon .3 PRP injections.much improved tendon healing .manage to play 18 holes of golf without pain .

Visited this lovely doctors with problems regarding trigger thumb, I’m absolutely speechless with the outcome, back to work with no problems, as a nail technician I was getting unbelievably worried this would never be sorted , thanks to this lovely I’m back to work.
