Dr Richard Sherman

Dr Richard Sherman is an accomplished Consultant Anaesthetist and Consultant in Critical Care and Anaesthesia who provides expert anaesthetic care and critical care support for patients undergoing surgical procedures. His clinical work encompasses comprehensive pre-operative evaluations, general anaesthesia, regional anaesthetics, perioperative care, and intensive care management. Dr Sherman is committed to patient safety and wellbeing, ensuring that every individual receives tailored anaesthetic management designed to minimise discomfort and support a smooth recovery.

Dr Sherman completed his medical degree at the University of Sheffield, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 1991. He subsequently attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1995 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 1998. Expanding his clinical scope into intensive care, he achieved Fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine in 2011. Dr Sherman remains actively affiliated with leading professional organisations, including the Royal College of Anaesthetists, the Association of Anaesthetists, and the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine.
