Dr Rhona McMenemin

Dr Rhona McMenemin is an empathetic and highly regarded Consultant Clinical Oncologist who provides expert, patient-centred care for individuals navigating a cancer diagnosis. Recognised for her clear, reassuring communication style, she prioritises ensuring that patients and their families feel informed, supported, and confident in their treatment choices. Working closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams, Dr McMenemin delivers tailored care plans designed to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Her clinical practice covers a broad range of oncological care, with a strong focus on urological malignancies and thoracic cancers. She specialises in the diagnosis and management of prostate, bladder, renal, and testicular cancers, as well as lung cancer. Dr McMenemin is highly skilled in prescribing and administering advanced oncological therapies, including systemic chemotherapy, radiotherapy, chemoradiation, and targeted treatment regimes aimed at maximising treatment efficacy while preserving patient quality of life.

Dr McMenemin completed her medical training at the University of Glasgow, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 1988, and later obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree. Her professional standing and expertise are reflected in her postgraduate fellowships. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR), a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London (FRCP London), and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI).
