Mr Reno Pelekanou

Reno Pelekanou is a registered osteopath at Brixton Therapy Centre with a Master’s in Osteopathy, awarded with distinction from the University College of Osteopathy. He has published research in the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine, with a particular focus on understanding patients’ experiences of pain.

Reno treats a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, from sports injuries and arthritis to postural tension linked to stress or anxiety. His approach integrates pain relief, biomechanical assessments, and exercise rehabilitation, as well as support for more complex or chronic pain syndromes where breathing techniques and relaxation may be prioritised.

He uses a variety of treatment techniques, including soft tissue therapy, joint manipulation, muscle energy techniques, medical acupuncture (dry needling), sports rehabilitation, and shockwave therapy. Reno combines his technical skill with a compassionate and reassuring approach, helping patients navigate their recovery with confidence and clarity.
