I am a Consultant in Endocrinology (hormonal disorders) & Diabetes, with more than 20 years of experience as a specialist in the field. Currently serving as the Pituitary Lead at Good Hope Hospital and previously held the role of Clinical Services Lead in Endocrinology & Diabetes.
My areas of expertise include all aspects of general endocrinology and diabetes, including thyroid, pituitary, raised prolactin, PMOS/PCOS, gonadal dysfunction, adrenal, calcium & metabolic bone disorders and Obesity.

Qualifications

I qualified in medicine in India in 1987 (MBBS) and went on
to complete further specialist training, gaining a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in
1994. I moved to the UK in 1999 to continue my training and attained MRCP in
2003.

I have been working as a specialist in diabetes and
hormone-related conditions (endocrinology) since 2005. In 2011, I completed the
Specialty Certificate Examination in Diabetes and Endocrinology, jointly
awarded by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK, the
Society for Endocrinology, and the Association of British Clinical
Diabetologists.

In 2024, I was honoured to be awarded the Fellowship of the
Royal College of Physicians.
