Dr Rebecca Rub

Dr Rebecca Rub is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician providing comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and young people. Known for her calm, thorough, and empathetic approach, she focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to every young patient. Dr Rub works closely with families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure children and teenagers feel supported, safe, and comfortable throughout their diagnostic and treatment journey.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of general and acute paediatric conditions alongside several key sub-specialty areas. Dr Rub leads clinical initiatives in paediatric eating disorders and paediatric endocrinology, providing expert management for complex nutritional, developmental, and hormonal conditions. Her clinical expertise also extends to inherited bleeding disorders, paediatric oncology liaison, community child health, and safeguarding children, enabling her to deliver tailored, holistic care for a diverse range of medical needs.

Dr Rub completed her primary medical degree prior to undertaking extensive postgraduate training in general and acute paediatrics. She holds Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and maintains full specialist registration on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Paediatrics. In addition to her clinical commitments, she is actively involved in medical education and quality improvement, acting as an Educational Supervisor to support the professional development of junior medical staff.
