Dr Rashmi Jadon

Dr Rashmi Jadon is a dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the non-surgical management of gastrointestinal malignancies, with a primary focus on rectal cancer and anal cancer. Known for her empathetic and holistic approach to patient care, Dr Jadon prioritises clear communication and shared decision-making. She strives to ensure that every individual feels heard, respected, and fully informed throughout their diagnosis and treatment journey.

In her clinical practice, Dr Jadon possesses extensive expertise in both chemotherapy and advanced radiotherapy techniques. Her clinical interests centre on delivering precise radiation therapy, including image-guided adaptive radiotherapy and intensity-modulated radiation therapy, designed to achieve optimal cure rates while minimising short-term and long-term side-effects. Additionally, Dr Jadon remains actively involved in clinical trials evaluating novel treatment approaches and investigating methods to reduce bowel toxicity following pelvic radiotherapy.

Dr Jadon earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Newcastle University in 2004. She subsequently completed comprehensive postgraduate specialist training in Clinical Oncology across several UK regions, during which she undertook a dedicated research fellowship studying advanced radiotherapy techniques. This research culminated in the award of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Cardiff University in 2017. Her professional memberships and accreditations include status as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR).
