Dr. Rahul Sahay

Dr Rahul Sahay is a general practitioner who co-founded Your GP Circle with his wife, Dr Neha Sahay. He gained his medical qualifications in 2005 from the University of Birmingham before undertaking general practitioner training in 2010 in Dudley. He then became a GP partner in an NHS GP surgery. He has a special interest in diabetes, asthma, and the management of COPD.

Additionally, he is a GP trainer and has previously run full-day training courses for GP trainees. He has also organised clinical educational meetings for his colleagues to ensure and enhance standards of care. In his practice, he focuses particularly on involving his patients in their own care and medical decisions, so that they are a part of the entire process and aware of all their options. One of the main goals of Your GP Circle is to give people control over their own health and to deliver an exceptional experience when they visit the doctor.

Outside of the surgery, Dr Sahay enjoys cricket, rugby and squash. He also enjoys audiobooks, particularly in the fields of self-development and life stories. He enjoys the diversity of people and believes that each and every person has unique experiences and skills that can help many other people.
