Dr. Neha Sahay

Dr Neha Sahay is a general practitioner who co-founded Your GP Circle with her husband, Dr Rahul Sahay. She completed her medical qualifications at the University of New South Wales in 2006 before working in the Australian healthcare system for 2 years. Following this, she moved to the UK to undertake a master's degree. She undertook a year of clinical research at the Northern Institute for Cancer Research where she studied bladder cancer stem cells with her results being published in a scientific journal.

Dr Sahay then moved to Birmingham and spent a year working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the fields of oncology and intensive medicine. She decided to focus on general practice as she preferred the close and continued patient interactions in that area. In 2015, she finished her GP training in Solihull and has worked within the NHS as a GP ever since. She is passionate about what she does and enjoys being part of her patients' health journeys. Since 2017, she has also worked as a private GP.

Outside of work, Dr Sahay enjoys spending time with her family and two twin daughters. She also enjoys being in nature and has a passion for travelling.
