Dr Radu Beltechi

Dr Radu Beltechi is a highly accomplished Consultant Neurosurgeon who specialises in diagnosing and treating complex neurological and spinal disorders. With a patient-centred approach, he is dedicated to delivering precise, compassionate care to individuals facing challenging neurological conditions. His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of advanced neurosurgical interventions, focusing on restoring function and significantly improving his patients' quality of life.

Dr Beltechi has developed extensive expertise in several key areas of neurosurgery. His primary clinical interests include neurovascular surgery, particularly the treatment of cerebral aneurysms, as well as skull base surgery and complex spine surgery. He is highly skilled in performing advanced procedures for brain tumour removal, managing spinal cord injuries, and treating degenerative spinal diseases. By utilising state-of-the-art surgical techniques and evidence-based practices, Dr Beltechi ensures that each patient receives a tailored treatment plan designed to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.

Dr Beltechi obtained his first medical qualification in 1993 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy 'Iuliu Hatieganu' Cluj Napoca in Romania. He went on to pursue advanced international training, earning an Interuniversity Specialisation Diploma in Neurosurgery from the University of Strasbourg, France, in 2002, followed by a PhD in Neurosurgery from the University of Bucharest, Romania, in 2006. He further refined his skills with a Master in Endovascular Neurosurgery from the University of Oxford in 2009 and completed a Fellowship in Neurovascular Surgery in London in 2010. Dr Beltechi is an ad eundem member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the Society of British Neurological Surgeons.
