Dr Rachael Crombie

Dr Rachael Crombie is a highly skilled Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She provides supportive, high-quality care to women facing a wide range of reproductive health concerns. In her clinical leadership duties, she oversees emergency gynaecology and early pregnancy services, delivering attentive care when patients require rapid medical evaluation and reassurance.

Dr Crombie completed her medical degree at medical school in Edinburgh. She subsequently undertook extensive clinical training across Scotland and northern England, rotating through healthcare facilities in Dundee, Durham, Carlisle, Northumbria, and Newcastle. Following the completion of her specialist training, she was appointed as a Consultant in 2023.

In addition to acute care, Dr Crombie has special clinical interests in menopause management and supporting individual reproductive choices. She works collaboratively with patients to formulate personalised treatment plans tailored to their unique healthcare needs. Complementing her clinical duties, she plays a central role in departmental clinical governance and active medical research, dedicated to upholding high safety standards and improving patient outcomes.
