Dr Qaisar Khalil

Dr Qaisar Khalil is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management who specialises in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of complex acute and chronic pain conditions. Taking a holistic, patient-centred approach, he combines evidence-based interventional techniques with comprehensive care strategies to help patients regain function, independence, and an improved quality of life. His clinical focus encompasses a wide spectrum of painful conditions, ranging from spinal and neuropathic pain to musculoskeletal disorders, post-surgical pain, and cancer-related discomfort.

Dr Khalil completed his primary medical qualification (MBBS) in 2008, followed by specialist postgraduate training in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine in Pakistan, earning a Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan (FCPS). He subsequently gained clinical experience in Ireland, undertaking dedicated pain medicine modules and obtaining a Fellowship of the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (FCAI). He further refined his sub-specialist expertise by completing an advanced Fellowship in Pain Medicine in the United Kingdom. His professional memberships include the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan and the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland.
