She was so comprehensive and clear, and explained past and ongoing treatment in terms which I could understand, putting my mind at rest while also suggesting further requests which should be thought about re future monitoring. Went to Prof Zoe for consultation after a DCIS diagnosis. I was so impressed with her knowledge, experience and guidance. After seeing all my scans and diagnostics she guided me through my type of cancer and what the outcomes should be and gave me help and advice on the things I needed to ask and clarify back to my NHS team . Having originally dealt with another breast cancer consultant (and a plastic surgeon he referred us to), I was not convinced my wife was dealing with the best. After some Googling and AI research, it soon became clear that Prof Winters is one of the UKs most esteemed breast cancer specialists. I reached out to organise a consultation for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. She explained things in more detail - although it can still be very hard to digest it all as these Professors live and breathe this stuff - and highlighted a number of decisions that had been made and/or checks that had not been done. At the time her clinic was closed whilst she recovered from an operation herself, but she referred us to some of the other leaders in her field who we also felt reassured by. We also received her consultation letter extremely quickly. To add, going through this sort of process is extremely stressful and worrying. Beyond the expertise and wealth of knowledge that Prof Winters has, she is also supported by her amazing secretary Jenny. Jenny replied to me at all hours, helped with any questions I had and also helped chased up results we needed. She is simply brilliant. If you need experts in the field of breast cancer, who can properly support you and care for you, you won't go wrong engaging with Prof Winters and her team.

She's thorough, detailed and knowledgeable and I got recommendations about HRT and body weight. I lost pounds and feel great! Lovely and approachable Doctor. I'm a 29 year old and was diagnosed with DCIS in June 2024. I was referred to Prof. Zoe in July 2024 for breast cancer surgery (Mastectomy & lymph node biopsy), at New Victoria Hospital in Kingston. She was the absolute best healthcare professional I've ever met, super friendly, takes time to explain everything thoroughly, precise, meticulous, and she is thorough in her research. I am personally a very detail oriented person and she immediately recognised this, hence sent me all sorts of knowledge and extra reading for me to educate myself further in every aspect of treatment and procedures. She is a great reader of people and body language too, which I think is important as the patient is going through a significant procedure hand in hand with their surgeon, and the way Prof. Zoe takes an interest in her patients and their family personally helps build a great foundation of trust and connection. She is also very professional and confident, which was hugely reassuring - and as a strong woman she instils and inspires women like myself to astute and self assured through a very challenging time such as being diagnosed with breast cancer. I found this very helpful as a particularly young woman to be diagnosed with this so unexpectedly. The surgery itself went very well, the scarring is minimal and I'm so hugely delighted with the outcome. Professor Winters was extremely professional and efficient throughout my consultations and treatments. She explained everything in great detail and followed up with relevant scientific papers. She ensured every aspects and concerns be covered in order to make the best approach for the surgery. The surgery went amazingly well. I felt myself was in the best possible hands.
