About Professor Kavin Andi
Professor Kavin Andi is an experienced consultant maxillo-facial surgeon who specialises in ablative and reconstructive head and neck cancer surgery. He is based at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London and is also an honorary professor of digital engineering applied to surgery at Cranfield University.

Additionally, he was ranked as the top maxillo-facial ENT by the Joint Committee for Higher Surgical Training, which led to his Advanced Head and Neck Cancer Surgery Interface Training Fellowship and the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
Prof. Andi has held a number of other prestigious positions, including Regional Speciality Advisor to the Royal College of Surgeons of England, external examiner for Kings College University, professional reviewer for MacMillan Cancer, and peer reviewer for the National Institute for Health Research. He has also previously been the President of the Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthetists and Technologists.
He is active in research, with interests such as augmented reality for cancer surgery, 3D surgical planning, surgical robots, and machine learning applied to surgery.

A fantastic doctor. His friendly and welcoming attitude put me at ease from the first moments of my visit. Prof Andi had everything arranged so that we could review my X-rays together. After 15 minutes I had a clear understanding of the story told by my X-ray, even though I know nothing about medicine. The magic was that he almost made me feel as if I was another doctor, rather than a patient. Overall, I left in a fantastic mood, confident and happy that I was in good hands.

Recently had jaw surgery and felt very safe and well looked after by Prof Andi and his team who were all very professional, thorough and caring throughout the operation which was successful and I was signed off after the follow up appointment 10 days later
Would definitely recommend Prof Andi! My procedure went super smooth and almost no pain afterwards. His assistant Ruby is also amazing and makes appointment super easy to schedule. Overall excellent!
Very reassuring and professional. I'm a nervous patient so will find any excuse not to go ahead with the procedure. I left feeling less anxious and resistant of going ahead with the surgery.
Professor Andi literally saved my life some years ago when he undertook a major operation and facial reconstruction following my diagnosis with a very aggressive cancer that had fortunately not metastasised. Throughout he was realistic, honest and encouraging, and always took time to explain everything clearly. I feel immensely fortunate to have had the benefit of his skill and support.
