Mr Michael T Simpson

Mr Michael T Simpson is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is also part of the Beds, Herts and Bucks Oral Maxillofacial network. His clinical interests include the following:

• Salivary Gland Disease/Management Oral Cancer
• Orthognathic (Jaw) Surgery for Facial Deformity
• Osseointegrated Implants
• Surgical Dermatology
• Head and Neck Surgery

He sees patients at The Saxon Clinic, the Manor Hospital, and Pinehill Hospital. He is experienced in the field and is able to refer his patients on to the best specialists when required.

Mr Simpson is qualified in both medicine and dentistry. He holds a BDS, MBBS, MRCS and FFDRCS. He was runner up for 'Best UK Trainer of the Year in the UK, and in 2016, he was awarded the Down Surgical prize from the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for his contribution to the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has also published his work 'Delays in Treatment Fractured Mandibles' and 'Current concepts: Treatment Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumours.'

He is a member of a number of associations including the British Association Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, the British Medical Association, the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists, the Oral Surgery Club of Great Britain, and the British Dental Association.
