Dr Pradnya Sheth

Dr Pradnya Sheth is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert, compassionate medical care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in general paediatric medicine alongside focused expertise in childhood kidney and digestive disorders, she is committed to delivering thorough and reassuring clinical care. Dr Sheth works closely with families to ensure every child receives personalised assessment and gentle, high-quality medical management tailored to their individual developmental and health needs.

In her clinical practice, Dr Sheth manages a broad spectrum of acute and chronic childhood conditions. Her primary areas of clinical interest encompass paediatric nephrology and paediatric gastroenterology, supporting young patients experiencing complex kidney, urinary, stomach, and bowel conditions. From conducting detailed clinical evaluations and diagnostic reviews to managing long-term paediatric illnesses, she places a strong emphasis on family-centred communication, ensuring parents feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their child's healthcare journey.

Dr Sheth completed her primary medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, in Mumbai, India in 1990, where she also earned her postgraduate Diploma in Child Health and Doctor of Medicine in Paediatrics. She subsequently undertook extensive postgraduate specialist training in the London North Thames region, focusing on paediatric renal medicine and gastroenterology before completing her specialist training. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and holds active professional memberships with the General Medical Council and the British Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
