Dr Peter Drew

Dr Peter Drew is an accomplished Consultant Plastic Surgeon who provides comprehensive patient-centred care across a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. With a focus on restoring both function and form, he works closely with patients to deliver tailored surgical solutions in a professional and reassuring environment. His clinical work spans complex reconstructive procedures, skin cancer management, and specialised burn recovery.

Dr Drew qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BCh) from the Welsh National School of Medicine in 1985. Following extensive higher surgical training, he attained Fellowships of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1990. He subsequently completed advanced specialty training in Plastic Surgery, gaining the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship FRCS(Plast) in 1998, and was admitted to the Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery in 2000. He is an active member of key professional organisations, including the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Burn Association (BBA), where he previously served as Chairman.

In his day-to-day practice, Dr Drew maintains specific clinical interests in complex burn care, trunk reconstruction, lower limb reconstructive surgery, and pelvi-oncology reconstruction. He is also highly experienced in the surgical management and excision of skin malignancies. By employing modern techniques and maintaining a compassionate, evidence-based approach, he ensures that patient safety, aesthetic harmony, and post-operative quality of life remain paramount.
