Dr Omer Gecici

Dr Gecici is a highly accomplished Consultant Psychiatrist who offers compassionate, patient-centred mental health care. He is dedicated to supporting individuals through comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, evidence-based interventions, and tailored treatment plans. With an emphasis on holistic well-being, Dr Gecici works collaboratively with patients to help them understand their mental health conditions and achieve meaningful clinical progress.

Dr Gecici earned his medical degree from Cerrahpaşa Medical School in 1997 and successfully completed his specialist psychiatric training in 2002. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical research and medical education, he subsequently achieved academic recognition as an Associate Professor and later as a Professor in Psychiatry. He is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych).

In his clinical practice, Dr Gecici manages a wide array of psychiatric conditions affecting adolescents and adults. His clinical focus includes neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder and ADHD, alongside complex mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and psychosis. Additionally, he possesses extensive expertise in psychopharmacology, addiction and substance abuse counselling, personality disorders, eating disorders, and advanced interventions such as electroconvulsive therapy.
