From the moment I entered River Medical I knew I had picked the right place for me. The minute I walked through the door I was immediately impressed by the professionalism of the place and it gave me a strong sense of confidence and reassurance straight away. After being to a number of consultations with different surgeons in different clinics I felt the most at ease with Dr Nicholas Hodgins. He was the only one who took his time explaining everything in detail, expectations, realistic results, showed me before and after results of surgeries that would be the nearest to mine. He was upfront and honest about everything. He also has a lovely, kind mannerism about him. The procedure all went ahead with absolutely no issues. I was actually surprised at how straightforward it all went. The before, during and after care was outstanding. My nurse Mateja, I couldn’t say enough good things about her. The most wonderful person you would want caring for you. She goes above and beyond. She is definitely a credit to the clinic. My results were more than I could of dreamed off. So happy and full of confidence again. Thank you again for everything.

I can honestly say From my very first appointment with Dr Hodgins I felt so at ease and confident with my decision , my surgery was life changing so it was a big decision for me to trust in the right Dr and that I did . I can’t thank him enough for the confidence he has now given me , he has changed my life , Dr Hodgins is a wonderful man and really cares about his patient's.

Process from start to finish was brilliant. Everyone is very welcoming and made me feel at ease as soon as I walked through the door. The nurses are brilliant and checked in a couple of times through phone call. Each check up was very comfortable

From my first consultation with Mr Hodgins, I felt really comfortable. Right up until surgery he reassured me he’d do his best to get me the size and shape I’d hoped for while making sure everything was safe. The care afterwards was brilliant too. One of the nurses rang me the day after surgery just to check how I was feeling, which was really reassuring. If there’s any questions or worries about something during recovery, there’s a number provided. Recovery has been exactly what you’d expect with swelling and bruising, but I already feel such a difference. My back isn’t sore anymore, my posture has changed and I’m so happy with how everything is looking. If you’re thinking about getting a breast reduction, I’d 100% recommend Mr Hodgins. He genuinely cares about his patients, is so reassuring and made the whole experience so much easier than I expected. I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

It was the best experience I’ve had in a hospital Thoroughly recommend anyone who wants this kind of surgery done to call this surgeon.. I didn’t even need many painkillers the first few days as there was very little pain I feel like a million dollars since I’ve had it done.
