Dr Nia Rathbone is a dedicated Consultant Endocrinologist and Consultant Acute Physician who provides expert, patient-centred care across a broad range of metabolic and hormonal conditions. Focusing on delivering high-quality clinical care, she specialises in managing complex endocrine disorders, diabetes mellitus, and acute medical presentations. Working alongside multidisciplinary health teams, Dr Rathbone focuses on tailored assessment and long-term condition management to support her patients' overall wellbeing and health.

In her clinical practice, Dr Rathbone possesses extensive experience in diagnosing and treating hormonal imbalances, including thyroid disease, adrenal conditions, and electrolyte disturbances. She plays an active role in the management of both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, providing structured guidance on glycaemic control, hypoglycaemia management, and the prevention of long-term diabetes complications. Additionally, her expertise in acute medicine allows her to efficiently evaluate urgent medical conditions and manage patients requiring acute assessment and ambulatory emergency care.

Dr Rathbone completed her medical degree followed by extensive specialist postgraduate training in General Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Acute Medicine. She holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) and is fully registered on the General Medical Council Specialist Register.
