Dr Neil Thompson is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine who provides comprehensive care for children and young people. He specialises in the prompt assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute medical conditions and physical injuries in young patients. Known for his calm and empathetic approach, Dr Thompson works to ensure that children and their families feel supported and reassured during emergency and urgent care situations.

Dr Thompson earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci), and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BM BS) degrees. He is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), maintaining a strong commitment to high professional standards, ongoing medical education, and evidence-based clinical practice.

His clinical focus encompasses a broad range of urgent paediatric care, with specific expertise in managing paediatric sepsis, major trauma, and acute childhood illnesses.
