Dr Najibah Mahtab

Dr Najibah Mahtab is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. Working as a Specialist in cancer management, Dr Mahtab adopts a thorough and patient-centred approach, ensuring that every individual receives clear guidance and tailored support throughout their diagnosis and treatment journey. She works closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to formulate personal treatment strategies designed to achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients.

Dr Mahtab has a dedicated clinical focus in the management of breast cancer and skin cancer. Her clinical expertise spans non-surgical oncological treatments, including systemic anti-cancer therapies and radiotherapy. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Mahtab actively contributes to medical research and serves as a Principal Investigator on clinical trials, helping to advance modern therapeutic approaches and refine oncological practices.

Dr Mahtab earned her medical qualification from Imperial College London in 2008. She subsequently completed her specialist training in Clinical Oncology within the Northern Deanery. Her academic foundation and higher specialist training have provided her with comprehensive expertise in advanced oncological techniques, multi-modality cancer therapy, and patient management.

Beyond her direct clinical duties, Dr Mahtab is deeply passionate about medical education, mentorship, and professional development.
