Dr Nadia Rafiq

Dr Nadia Rafiq is a dedicated Consultant Paediatric Rheumatologist who specialises in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex rheumatic and autoinflammatory conditions in children and adolescents. With a compassionate and family-centred approach, Dr Rafiq delivers individualised care to young patients experiencing joint, muscle, and systemic tissue disorders. She collaborates closely with multidisciplinary health teams to ensure each child receives comprehensive, holistic support tailored to their unique clinical needs.

Dr Rafiq completed advanced specialist training in paediatric rheumatology at leading specialist children's teaching hospitals in the United Kingdom. During her postgraduate academic work at a prominent child health research institute, she conducted research into novel therapeutic approaches for autoinflammatory diseases. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Rafiq actively contributes to medical education and clinical governance, serving as an Educational Supervisor, Clinical Lead, and University Lecturer involved in training future healthcare professionals.
