Miss Myat Pann

Miss Myat Pann is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over two decades of clinical experience. She specialises in the management of benign gynaecological conditions, with a particular focus on improving the quality of life for women experiencing complex hormonal and reproductive health issues. Currently, she serves as a Consultant at the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she contributes to the development of acute gynaecology and early pregnancy services. She also has a clinical interest in menopause care, supporting women with the management of menopausal symptoms and tailored hormone replacement therapy options.

Her surgical and diagnostic expertise covers a wide range of procedures, including the investigation of pelvic pain, endometriosis, and menstrual disorders. Miss Pann is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and is known for her commitment to patient-centred care and clinical education. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Medicine 1, Yangon, in 2001 before completing her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK. Her clinical interests also include the assessment and management of prolapse and other conditions affecting pelvic floor health.
