Mr Muhammad Yousaf

Mr Muhammad Yousaf is a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in both General and Gastrointestinal Surgery, with specialist expertise in advanced laparoscopic surgery techniques for procedures relating to the stomach, colon, gallbladder and hernia. Mr Yousaf works at Craigavin Area Hospital as well as Kingsbridge Private Hospital.

Mr Yousaf obtained his primary medical degree in 1988 from the University of Punjab in Pakistan. He had his higher surgical training in Northern Ireland, as well as specialist training in hepato-biliary surgery in Manchester and advanced laparoscopic surgery in London. He is a general and gastrointestinal surgeon with an interest in complicated gallbladder and biliary diseases, acid reflux and keyhole surgery for hernia and gallstones. Additionally, he has an interest in surgery for weight loss cases. Mr Yousaf also takes referrals for OGD's colonoscopies and minor operations from other surgeons.
