I have been a client of Sam's for a few years on and off. For a period of time I was also under the care of a psychiatrist, and she and he worked really well together. I now have online sessions with her, which are just as good as in-person. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam. She is a brilliant psychologist. She was central to my diagnosis of (and recovery from) postnatal depression and continues to be a great source of wisdom and empathy. I know myself so much better than before I began sessions with her. I am more self-aware, resilient and have learned real self-compassion. As a result, I am far better equipped to deal with whatever may come my way in the future.

I’ve always been skeptical about therapy & therapists. Never felt comfortable talking about my emotions or feelings, but Sam made me feel safe enough to share my thoughts. I first saw Sam in 2019 and again in 2022. There’s never been a session where I felt “just another patient”. The sessions were never rushed. Sam’s sincere interest in my welfare, her honest feedback & guidance not only helped me overcome dark and challenging times but also gave me the confidence to make necessary changes to better myself. I cannot thank Sam enough for her support, empathy and professionalism. I do believe therapy is important but finding a good therapist is vital.

Excellent. I had severe OCD and Sam shared all the theory and clinical activities to help me. She’s got lots of knowledge but it’s the way she communicates and supports that made all the difference. OCD can be embarrassing and she made therapy very supportive and warm.

Excellent- Highly recommend. I’m actually a Clinical Psychologist and so know what to look for in a psychologist’s training and delivery. Sam is superb- highly empathetic and knows her science and models of therapy inside out. I needed someone a cut above given my job and she delivered impressively and with ease.

Thank you so much Sam. I saw Sam for online therapy for severe depression. It worked brilliantly online, she understood me and could see what I was feeling easily. I was actually really surprised and pleased to be heard and understood so well. Sam is a very kind, gentle and helpful therapist. She has made a world of difference in my life. So even though she gives me all the credit for working hard on managing my depression, seeing her made life worth getting up for again.

I am an older client of Sam's and I came back after a tough few years. She is an exceptional clinician and also kind, warm and gentle when I was struggling. Sam helped me out of a very difficult period of anxiety and depression, and I have recommended her to my friends.

I found Samantha Farag easy to relate to, even though because of lockdown, our sessions all had to take place by Zoom. She was very empathetic and listened with great care to all that had happened to me before working with me to treat complex PTSD successfully. A year ago my life was falling apart. Now, because of the work that Samantha did with me I am confident that should my symptoms reoccur I now have a tool kit for dealing with them.

Sam is easy to talk to and we formed a comfortable and easy rapport. She is exceptionally perceptive even when working via Zoom. Her reflections are direct, accurate and very helpful. She comes to sessions well prepared and with ideas to aid progress, but is also able to respond to circumstances which arise in the session. She is professional and compassionate. With her support and guidance I have been able to make significant progress through a very challenging time.
