I am writing to say a big thank you to you for the wonderful job you did in replacing my hip joint. In a very short time, I was able to walk around the house without the use of my aids and to walk outside with the help of only one stick. After the recommended six weeks I was driving the car again and back at my part-time job. By that time I could also walk without needing any aids at all. The operation seems to have been a total success, for which I am extremely grateful. I am now looking forward to enjoying the ling walks that I was not able to take.
I'd like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to you and your entire department for the care I received during my stay at Guy's. I was particularly pleased with the medical treatment I received as it related to my faith as one of Jehovahs Witnesses. Thank you and your team, very much!
I dont know how to thank you for doing suhc a wonderful job on my hip. It has changed my life.
Just a note to say a huge thank you for the treatment I received while I was under your care. The surgery I had for a hip replacement has given me my life and independence back. The care I received from the nurses on the wards was first class.
Thank you for your help and kindness while I was at Guys Hospital
I would like to thank you for my continuing care and for my original hip replacement operation. As you are aware I spent almost 10 months in extreme pain and was not able to complete even the easiest of tasks, I had to rely on family to do my everyday chores and completely lost my independence. After my follow-up appointment, I felt I needed to show you my appreciation for how quickly you fitted myself in for the operation and the care you have shown since. Almost a year has now gone and I am back on my feet with the help of a walking stick. I am able to go shopping and perform the tasks I did before the operation. I once again thank you for your help in allowing me to enjoy my twilight years and the freedom mobility gives me.
Thank you very much for your most skilful care and attention
Thank you so much for what you did for me again. I'm now pain-free, your the best surgeon, well respected, everyone says the same. I was so lucky to have you do my 2nd operation and I'm so grateful for that, I shall miss you and I will always think of you as my friend. I tell everyone that. Wishing you all the success in the world.
Thank you for all of your hard work in looking after Mum yet again. She has recovered well and is now full of beans as usual. Your dedication to your work and your expertise is without a doubt exceptional. We shall miss you but you will never be forgotten within this family. I wish you well for the future, once again thank you.
God bless you and thank you very much for the wonderful operation
I found Mr Zameer Shah to be the perfect orthopaedic to perform my hip replacement surgery He was always very approachable and helpful in every way I could not have wished for better treatment and would highly recommend him
Total right hip replacement. Mr Shah has an extremely friendly, confident and experienced manner. He took the time to explain all the pros and cons of the proposed treatment and left me to make my own decisions at all times without rushing me. He came to check up on me in the hospital both immediately after the operation and also three days later and was extremely patient answering all mine and my husband’s questions. I highly recommend Mr Shah and will be looking him up again when the time comes to replace my left hip!
I received excellent advice on a hip replacement before my operation from Mr Shah, based on a CT scan and an MRI. This made me realise that a hip replacement was the best way forward. My operation was at Blackheath hospital and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.Mr Shah and the anaesthetist came to visit me shortly before the operation to explain the procedure. The whole process lasted around 2 hours. I also had a visit from a physio before the operation, who gave me some crutches and a zimmer frame. They proved invaluable over the next few days. The following day I had another visit from Mr Shah and then started my physio, which involved walking with crutches. I was able to go up and down stairs by the 2nd day.All the nursing staff were excellent throughout the week, particularly in helping me put on and pull up my surgical socks. Food and drink were plentiful throughout my time at Blackheath. After I left hospital I made good progress and came off painkillers in just over a week. I went for my first walk outside with crutches 6 days after the operation , which was amazing. Two weeks after the operation I was walking without crutches. I had another appointment with Mr Shah to discuss my progress. I would like to thank all the staff and particularly Mr Shah for a life changing operation. A month later I can walk freely and keep up with my 20 year old son.
My background is that of a very sporting professional Officer in The British Army. I was a National biathlon Athlete and international course setter. I also ran many marathons all of which had a massive impact my frame over the years. I was referred to Mr Shah who after excellent consultations and x-rays advised me to have a Total knee replacement operation, which was carried out at the BMI Blackheath on 10 March 2020. Post operation he visited me and sadly due to the ongoing viral pandemic, we have had telephone consultations with me passing pictures of the knee. Despite this distance working, Mr Shah has provided me with great encouragement and professional advice. After 2 weeks I was walking without assistance and pain was negligible. Early days yet, but a great Consultant who has altered my active life for the better.
Just a few kind words to say thank you to yourself and staff for treatment I received on my operation to replace my painful right kneecap. Other than bad sickness everything went very well so once again please say thank you to your staff and goodself and I hope I stay pain free on my right knee
I am writing to express my thanks for the care I received during my recent stay on Sarah Ward. I was admitted on 7 March 2013 for a total hip replacement. Everyone encountered from the moment of arrival to my departure six days later on 13 march showed me nothing but courtesy and attention and I experienced the most excellent standards of pre and post operative care. Thank you once again for making a rather anxious time far more bearable to me.
Firstly let me thank you and your fellow staff for your professional care and attention to my left knee. It was good to see you again last week. The recovery still continues aplomb!
I cannot thank you enough for literally giving me my life back! I had been in constant pain for four yeas. I was in despair, everything I had tried had been useless and even strong pain killers made no difference. The total hip replacement you carried out on the 3rd April, has been a near miraculous success. I am walking freely and easily, without a limp for the first time in four years and i have now got total mobility. I have come off all pain killers. The replacement hip appears to have relieved the sciatica and I am hoping that now I am walking totally upright and balance that this will be the relief that was needed. You were warm humourous and relaxed and explained everything that was going on. All of these things inspire confidence in the patient and makes them feel that tey matter to you and that you are really going to help them. This goes a long way towards achieving a satisfactory outcome and a good recovery. Your secretary too was always extremely helpful and so nice to deal with.
Just want to say thank you so much for what you did for me and also what a very nice person you are. You are o nich and easy to talk to and so nice the way you explained everything and made me feel comfortable in every way. I feel like a new person. Since my op you've given me back my life and I'm so grateful to you for that. I laugh at the we had these little banters which was funny, I'm so luck to have had you for my surgeon as I know you're very well liked by staff and other people I've spoken to. I feel a very happy bunny. I was so happy when you discharged me on the 15th January. Also, my family thank you so much. I'm so lucky I have a great family all very grateful to you. My daughter sends her best regards and I wish you all of the same.
I am just writing to say thank to you and your team for the care compassion professionalism and the surgical skill you have shown me over the last 12 months. From my perspective the surgery has been a great success. I can't thank you enough for this. Not only can I now walk much further than I was able to before the operation, with all the old knee pain gone, I also have had my height and posture restored; two things I never imagined would happen. I was very impressed by the way all the staff involved specialist nurse, amissions, surgical team, nurses, physiotherapy and occupational health worked together as an integrated whole. It gave me great confidence un you all and reduced the stress I was feeling to a negligible level.
Mr Shah, you have done a wonderful job, you have a great team. Mr Nunn, Mr Smith and all the staff that work in theater.
Dear Mr Shah, God Bless you & thank you very much for the wonderful operation. Good health I am having now. Thousand Thanks & God Bless you again
From the first consultation right through to the check ups following my operation, I felt I was in totally safe hands. Mr Shah explained the procedure and recovery plan to me in detail. Both before and after the operation, I could always contact him through his highly efficient PA Aamira and responses were always extremely prompt. Mr Shah is personal with a great manner and very motivating - I was determined to be one of his many successes and have a really swift recovery. Had I not had the operation, I would have been unable to set up my dog care business in early January 2020, so in many ways the operation has allowed me to fulfil my dream of working with and caring for dogs! Would highly recommend.
Mr Shah and all his team thank you for making my life wonderful again with my new knee its great

Mr Shah, I wanted to thank you for taking my case on and performing the total knee replacement surgery on my right knee. it was amazing how pain-free and mobile I was so quickly following the surgery. it was very unfortunate that I developed persistent cellulitis or I feel certain that I would be near full recovery by now. I also want to thank you for your advise in the hallways as you were passing and when I phoned Sue the secretary. I am now feeling much better and hope i have turned a corner towards full recovery. many thanks for all your effort, they are much appreciated.

I do appreciate everything that has been done for me and very grateful for the care that was given in your care.
Mr Shas stands out. he is an exceptionally skilled and talented surgeon, and my praise and thanks is given to him. however, everyone who helped me during my stay at the hospital has been brilliant. I hope that you can personally recognise each and every one of them. you should be proud of the people who work there day in and day out probably with very little praise.
I would like to enforce the good work of Mr Shah and the positive attitude he has displayed during my time at Guys Hospital. He has been supportive, knowledgeable kind and considerate throughout. I cannot thank him enough for his professional approach. He's very much a team player who leads from the front. he a very good man with a bright future.

my recent attendances and treatments at Guys Hospital queens ward have been so positive and educative. I am left full of admiration for all involved in the care, treatments, personal help and kindness showed. I cannot simply say form top to bottom since you have a superb team with nothing left to chance. as for your personal, wondering sewing skills, I am left full of admiration. The outcome has been a positive one with virtually zero joint pain. Please also thank Sue for her help in keeping me in the loop with appointments etc. It certainly helped to make my life more tolerable.

Mr Shah, at last, I put pen to paper and thank you for my knee surgery. I've recovered from the jet lag of travel to Tasmania and really appreciate that I was able to actually undertake such a journey. My care at Guy's has been excellent too. Thank you.
