He completed his higher surgical training at St Thomas' Hospital (London), St Georges Hospital (London) and Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead) and was awarded FRCS (Plastic Surgery) in 2009. He further developed his expertise by undertaking specialist training fellowships in Cosmetic Surgery (at McIndoe Surgical Centre, East Grinstead 2010) and in Hand and Wrist Surgery (at Wrightington Hospital, Lancashire and Erasmus MC University Hospital, Rotterdam 2011-2012).
Mr Harley regularly organises and teaches for the Royal College of Surgeons Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic course series, while also maintaining involvement in clinical research, winning conference prizes for research projects in abdominoplasty and in finger joint replacements; experience which have provided him with a deeper understanding of specialist topics. He is also a member of The British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), and The British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).

An excellent experience. All staff were amazing - very helpful and explained what was happening. As a previous theatre nurse I was really impressed with the whole procedure. Mr Harley is a brilliant surgeon with a great sense of humour which makes one very reasurred. Thank you very much.

Mr Harley has been knowledgeable and professional throughout. He advised on what was best for me and explained every aspect of the surgery, I am thrilled with the results, he is a very skilled surgeon and I have had absolutely no problems healing. The whole process was perfect.
